Tony Robinson of the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) asks whether the training and support offered by the Government fulfils the needs of smaller businesses. Established in 1995, SFEDI's aim is to continually raise the standard of learning, training, coaching and business support available to prospective and existing small and home business owners.

It's a fact that better-trained staff earn your business more money. The service sector is the largest sector in British industry and people are its key asset. However, the manufacturing industry must also find, motivate and retain qualified and well-trained staff. Therefore, relevant, comprehensive, and high-quality training is an ongoing need for business.
